1. Over View:- Vision, Mission, Objectives, Roles &Responsibilities:-
The present office of the Executive Engineer, Public Works Road Department, Dhemaji State Road Division, Dhemaji was established in 2005 A.D. in the name of the Office Executive Engineer, Public Works Road Department, Dhemaji State Road Division. This division was created with the strength of 1 (one) number Sub-Division such as Dhemaji State Road Sub-Division.
Initially, this division was solely responsible for the maintenance & improvement of State Road & Major District Roads of the entire Dhemaji district. Later, in addition maintenance & improvement of entire rural roads under Bordoloni & Machkhowa Development are entrusted to this division. As such, to ensure a free & hazardless road to every villages is the sole objective of this department.

A. PMGSY(Pradhan Mantri Gram Sadak Yojana)
PMGSY was launched by the Central Govt. of India in the year 2000 with the objective of connecting all eligible habitations in the rural areas in the way by construction of an All Weather Road. Under the guidance of NRRDA (National Rural Road Development Agency), this division also started construction of roads & bridges under PMGSY.

D. Conversion of 1000 Nos. SPT. bridges to RCC
Construction of RCC Bridge No. 2/1 on Old N.T Road in progress. Details given in progress report.
E. SDRF(State Disaster Response Fund)
Status of 23 Nos. schemes sanctioned during 2017-18 & 2018-19 are given in progress report.
F. ARMF( Assam Roads Maintenance Fund):
